Qualification & Experience:
- Principal : (1) Master Degree from the recognised university with at least 45% marks in aggregate. (2) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree. (3) Teaching Experience (Principals, Vice Principal, PGT, TGT Level) Required. (4) Desirable –
- Knowledge of Computer Applications. PGT :(1) Two Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. The course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject (OR) Post Graduate in concerned Discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate. (2) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognised University. (3) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
- TGT :(1) Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate (OR) Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. (2) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Sidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. (3) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. (4) Desirable – Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Primary Teacher :(1) Senior Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation with 12th) with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent; (2) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. (3) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media. (4) Desirable – Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Primary Teacher (Music) :(1) Senior Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation with 12th) with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent. (2) Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognised University. (3) Competence to teach through English/Hindi media. (4) Desirable – Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Examination Fee: A Non-refundable application fee of ₹ 1200/-for the post of Principal and ₹ 750/- for the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Primary Teacher, Primary Teacher (Music). The fee pays through Bank e-Challan. No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH categories and Ex-Service men candidates.
- Selection Process: Written Examination and Interview. The KVS reserves the right to decide the cutoff marks in written examination and interview separately.
